Got a call on my answering machine today. They said they were renewing my antivirus security for 1 year from V Tech Solutions. They said they were charging me $249.99. They said to call them back at this number within 24 hrs to get my refund if I want to cancel my subscription. I didn’t call back.
They said my antivirus had expired on my computer. They beeded the number off of computer to cancel or they would charge $249 a month. I did not give it to them and hung up.
called number back....answered phone with ? collision services. Said I had a $280.00 bill with them. Interesting area code is Florida and I haven't been there in 30 years.
Got a call from this phone number today in the morning 12/7/2020 , they left no message. It is risky to answer any unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anybody important or that you know they will leave a message on voice mail.
