got a robo call from vtec 1786 980 4013 thats when i started researching vtec on line when i found this comment section

I also am in WA state. Received a call from this number at 8:50 AM. I let all calls go to my answer machine. The message was a computerized male voice stating just like the person just ahead of me said. Wanted to be called back to stop a charge on my credit. I used category unknown because this is not a Scam suspicion, it is a SCAM. I have been told by the Do Not Call Registry that if you once call a number, even if it is to protest their unfounded call, it gives them the right to say you have done business with them and so your Do Not Call request becomes invalid for that number. I am a senior citizen. I want to warn others to just hang up on this number or better yet, do not answer it in the first place. It is a definite Scam.

Message to call or my CC would be charged. WA state.

Received a call from this number this morning which went to my voicemail. Message said a $299 charge would be made on my credit card for my suscription and if I wanted a refund to call them back. I called them and the guy I spoke to was difficult to understand because of broken English. He said if I wanted a refund to go to my computer and he would walk me through the process. I asked him which credit was used because it was an unauthorized charge and I want to notify the credit card company. He said he could not provide that information and again told me he would walk me through the process. I told him to I would do no such thing and if I find any such fraudulent charges on any of my cards, I would notify the appropriate fraud department and tell them the charge is unauthorized and to pursue criminal charges against Vtech for fraud. He hung up on me.

Received 3 calls in a row from this number. Everytime it was silent. Upon searching discovered its a robocall for VTech software. Others are saying their CC will be charged $249.99 unless they call to cancel. Has anyone been charged?? This time of the year is when CC are used the most online. I'm in WA state.

We also received a 4 a.m. call from these people so we know it is a scam, plus never heard of Vtech, any calls this early to Hawaii are from companies that can be ignored.

I received a call on my answering machine about 10:25 AM 12/08/20 that I would be charged $249.99 for a 1 year subscription to V (or ""the"") Tech Solution within 24 hours unless I called 1-786-980-4013 to cancel this charge and request a refund. VTech is unknown to me. Sounds very much like scam.

The phone rang at 4:41am. No human would call Hawaii at that time of day.

This call has hit NJ this morning, same content as everyone. Never call these type of calls back!!

4:30am - said they are charging my card for $249.00

The same. $299.00 and they wanted me to be in front of my computer and was wanting me to go in safe mode...I just acted like my phone was acting up and hung up. lol Made sure not to say yes too.

I got a call from 786-980-4013 about a anti virus charge of $249.99. I did not answer and erased it from my answering machine. I see from the comments, that they have been calling quite a few people today.

I got the same call as above from the same number. I did not answer or request anything from them. Scam!!

I received a message on my answering machine claiming to be vtech and that they had charged me $299.99 for an anti-viral and that I should call this number to cancel and request a refund.

Left voice mail, and did not use our name. Reporting that they were going to renew security protection for $299. Never heard of the(vtech).

This caller wanted me to call back to stop a charge on my credit card.

I missed a call from this phone number because it called at 06:00. I checked my voicemail and had a very similar if not identical message left -- although it was truncated in the beginning -- as the other ""scam suspicion"" reported about VTech Solutions charging a subscription and to cancel and get a refund I would need to call the number.

I got a call from this number this morning, saying it was ""Vtech Solutions"" and that a $299 charge had been made to my credit card for my ""subscription"", and if I wanted to cancel and get a refund I needed to call the number. I have no subscription to any such company's service, and checked online - many scam reports on this company name!

This number 7869804013 called me a few times for the past two weeks.Finally, I decided to answer but there was silence on the other side.In the beginning I thought it was quite strange but later I thought it was a connection problem. Anyway, does anybody know the number 7869804013?
