800-237-1396 – Scam suspicion user reviews

This is a SCAM! My friend, bless her heart, does know very much about Microsoft, computers, or technology in general. They got her for over 500.00 but thank goodness she paid through PayPal so her money was secured. As far as finding out who, we have no idea. We called Microsoft and they said they will never make phone calls to customers. That's not how they do business.

I got an automated call from this number 1-800-237-1396 that said my computer account was expiring today and would be renewed automatically and charged to my debit account if action wasnt taken. The call automatically hung up. So, I called the number back only because I thought it might be my antivirus account. A foreign man with broken English answered and wanted me to log into my computer without telling me a company name or who he was with. When I asked he said he wasnt a company he was Microsoft and then went on to say something about $399.00 to renew my account. I said what have I purchased for that amount of money that I need to renew. He said my Microsoft account and then started getting rude/frustrated with me. He said ""maam you need to listen to what I am saying"" Uttered about something computer related and then I hung up on him. Soooo, I am gonna call this one a scam. If not, Microsoft has terrible employees.

It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ??. I'm searching info about number 8002371396 . They called me already three times. The first call was 12/5/2019
