Scam artist: beware.
This number called my mobile # today.The recorded message was: ""This is PayPal security calling. A charge of $291.00 has been added to your account for (internet/computer?) repairs. Please press #1 if this is incorrect."" My instincts said to hang up without responding and contact PayPal directly. As it turns out, PayPal Customer Service calls are not in service due to Corona 19. The only option is to email customer service and give them a heads up, after I recheck y actual PayPal account.
Yesterday the number 8004799879 phoned me a few times. I couldn't answer it. Later I called it back. I was rejected. I called it later again but there was silence on the other side. I think it is nothing important. Probably telemarketer with another ad or an invitation.
