In spite of my number listed on the ""Do Not Call"" register, I have received several calls from 800 643-6716. They start by telling me that this is a recorded call so I politely told him today that they should review the take and highlight the do not call me again portion. As of now, this number has been blocked!

Claimed to be calling from Direct TV (which I have) to tell me about a special package that I can get for a discounted rate for a limited time. I stopped her politely and explained that I only have their service to get a clear signal for local TV channels and that I don't need to have any enhanced service. (I don't watch much TV) I then thanked her for calling but I don't want any more service features. I don't know if she thought that I had hung up already but I then heard "" Then Go F**K Yourself. WHOA! Direct TV will be getting a call from me to cancel the service that I already have with them. This may have been a telemarketer for Direct TV or whomever. But you don't say that to current customers! Goodbye Direct TV. Choose your telemarketers more wisely.
They said it was DirecTV and offered me a package.
It’s Directv you must be near your contract ending or they want to offer you some sort of deal so that you stick around longer with them
