This caller rung at 8:00 a.m.. Caller ID showed Triple A . The caller played a recording that kept cutting out, had a fake renewal message.
They called claiming to be from AAA warranty/renewal. Only thing is, I am not currently a AAA member. In their message, they asked for my SSN, credit card # and bank account information. Fraudsters!
Got a call from this phone number 8009316979 today in the morning, they left no message. It is risky to answer unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anything important, they will leave a message on voice mail.
