Received a voicemail claiming to be a “final attempt” to resolve a supposed legal matter before a claim would be filed locally. The caller even used my maiden name, which I haven’t used in over 14 years, clearly relying on outdated or leaked personal information to sound legitimate. The message threatened legal action and seizure of assets unless I immediately called back at 802-577-2722. This is an obvious scare-tactic scam. Do not call back or provide any personal information.
