A man with heavy accent called me a few times on July 1, said that someone have using my info to apply 10 credit cards in PA, asked me if I have been to PA! After that he started to ask more personal questions, like which State I live, what’s the zip code? Then my last 4 digit of SSN! After giving him this, I started to feel suspicious and hang up the phone. I hope I didn’t give him too much info! My suggestion for you is please do not ever answer their questions at all. It’s a scam, a call center, might be from oversea!
Called twice today. Said it was the Social Security Administration. My guess is that it's a scam. Good luck getting me to answer.
I called them back. Say they are from the SSA. Say charges have been filed against you by the FBI. And then of course they just need to verify yiur SSN.

I did not answer, they left a message. Foreign accent, said there was a fraudulent use of SSN in Pennsylvania and to please call back. I will not be calling back.
