Supposedly to connect the caller with someone. DON'T DO IT! That associates your name to a number that they already have. It can be a start to build a scam to try on you at a later time.
Called me twice in one day, when I answered each time no one said anything. They called from the number 8177540887 today 4/29/2021 early in the morning
