I received the same call. I said I didn’t feel comfortable confirming the last four of my social, and I told him I can hear the guy sitting next to him on the phone doing the same thing to me. He told me to google search his name to confirm the call was legit. I said I’ll wait for a letter from the government and go from there.
I missed the call from this number and tried to connect. The guy told me he is an investigator from Department of Drug Enforcement and my ss is compromised. I asked him to send me the details in writing but he declined saying he doesn't have time to do so. And since my email is compromised with the SS...they don't want to send the details in writing. i have asked to give him an alternative email that is not directly related with my account but still he refused. It is a SCAM ...
Someone called me from the number 8203000987 . After the phone quits ringing and goes to Voice Mail they hung up and didnt leave any voice message. I suggest to not answer the phone when the caller phones you. The caller may want to know what time/day you pick up the phone to know when you are home, so they would know when to call you again.
