I saw this number on my phone after I wasn't able to answer it in time. I didn't recognize the number, and it didn't have an Caller ID; just repeated the same number on the ID section. I have heard rumors about it though, I just wanted to be sure it wasn't dangerous.
This is Avanti USA, a debt collector in Texas. They called me about a debt my DEAD mother in law owed from a year ago. She had no money and no assets and died a medicaid patient in a nursing home. Not my debt, not my problem.
Called me twice in one day, when I answered each time no one was said anything. Waste of my time. They called from the 8324134659 . Today 4/24/2020 early in the morning
