They called with recording and said to call the number back or your accounts will be frozen and face legal action. I called the number back because I knew it was a scam so I could see what they would be asking for. When the Indian man answered I said “y’all are not the damn SSA, remove my number from your list.” And he responded with a weird sound acting like he didn’t speak English and then disconnected the call. I called back and a woman picked up and I said the exact same thing to her and she disconnected the call. I called back at least 5 times and no one answered. It just kept ringing, then eventually go to a voicemail. I tried to call from my TextNow number but I guess they have those numbers blocked because the call would not go through. I tried one more time and a male answered and asked what I needed assistance with, so I told him “I received a call from this number and was told to call back.” He asked if there was a name left for reference and I informed him “no”. He then ask for my first or last name so I give him a fake last name and he then ask so this number does not belong to...he says my real first and last name, and I tell him no it does not. He then says, “ok, you sure? I’ll remove you.” I tried to call back later on and it seems as though they’ve blocked me from calling
