Same as most everyone else: "I'm with the consumer council regarding a financial matter. Please call back (or My call back number is) 833-213-3710." A female voice, unknown to me, out from nowhere, referring to nothing specific and in my case, I received the call on 6 August 2022. I'm not returning it nor will I spend money to track it, so it ends here. I'd advise others to do the same.
caller id showed +1-281-524-1193 & the app claims a verified number, since they left a different number. the recorded message apparently started before the phone recorded, as others stated: the recording started with: "you today (after a bit of a pause (I dont think the voice was live, generally people are more responsive if they're 'live')) im with consumer council regarding a financial matter, my call back # is 833-213-3710". sorry that's all i have, i wont call back but i will block.

I get a call from a different 984 number and leaves a voicemail with either Consumer Council about a financial matter or Senior Aide Helper...I'm not close to Senior age nor do I have financial matters. I have reported to FCC multiple times I suggest others do the same.
Scammer - "Emily" calls every day with some new angle. Do not respond. Just want to hook you in to get your info. Block everyday, everyday, everyday.
Scammer, do not respond, send call to voice mail and they will take u from their list. As a RULE, when an unknown number call do not answer, BUT! if you have doubts and want to answer, do NOT talk, wait! let them talk first, maybe you'll recognize the voice of somebody u know or if they start with they script ("we're calling from Amazon, Social Sec, Microsoft etc) just hung up. Period When the scammers call , then you answer and they hung up, is because they do Robot Calls FIRST, to confirm that is a Live Person eager to respond, they will keep u in their list for future scams calls & even will sell your # to other scammers. Do NOT call back , could even be a pay-per-minute call and u will be charged.
