Received two calls from this number this week, both around 5:00 PM. The caller ID showed “probable spam.” I let the first call go to voicemail, but no message was left. They called again on Friday—I answered, but the call disconnected a second after I said hello. This is likely a scam, and I won’t be answering if they call again.
Heard background noise like someone walking around outside, which didn’t seem very professional. There was also the usual delay before connecting, typical of call centers. The caller had a strong accent in both English and French and used the same script Kat received, offering promotions from Koodo. Based on past experience with scammers, this raised multiple red flags.
