Caller ID 207-223-7275. Collections agency with the dumbest message (and most hilarious!) generic message I've ever heard. No one in their right mind would call back. These guys think people will pick up local calls eexcept the numbers on the caller ID are such that you know no one you know lives there because there are on 1000 people in the town! LOL!

It's clearly a scam call, but it got through my blocked calls feature I have set on my phone because it used ""private number"". I called the number back that the guy told me to call. Took forever for him to answer and I almost hung up. But he finally answered with ""Account Mediation"" or something like that. So I just said ""yeah, right"" and hung up. Ticks me off because these people act very threatening, and elderly people often get pulled in out of fear they've done something wrong.

called from MAC and said they were calling for someone but the name was muted out and all the same information as previous post. This is a scam.
The calller, Mark Daniels with M A C, said he was calling (name muted) about the case related to Social Security # and bank info. They had tried several times to contact that person via mail and phone. Need to speak with person immediately to help resolve issues. Call back or they will be forced to take every action possible.
