tell them your name is Richard parker and you'll get a rise out of these scammers.
They said they were calling from Direct TV and asked me If I was in front of my TV and told me they had an update on my box. When I told them I did not have direct TV they said they were hired from all but verizon and that If I told them who I had they would check to see if they were on the list. That companies hired them to update the boxes. I had alarm bells ringing before but they really went off now. He asked my name and I said well you should already know my name if you called me, he then said it is robo dialed and I need you to spell your last name for verification. I laughed and said that if there was a change my company would call me and Identify themselves and not ask me for the company name and they would know my name, then I hung up. BEWARE this IS a scam!! My warning bells are still ringing and it has been 10mins since I hung up.

Someone called me from the number 8336260766 . After the phone quits ringing and goes to Voice Mail they hung up and didnt leave any voice message. I suggest to not answer the phone when the caller phones you. The caller may want to know what time/day you pick up the phone to know when you are home, so they would know when to call you again.
