They called, had no information but wanted mine. It's just a scam. They try to collect money by using threat of lawsuit. Do NOT give them ANY information. If they can't get money from you, they will sell or use any information you give them. DO NOT say anything, never say ""yes"" to any question. Just hang up
Not sure how they got my number. They are stating that they are calling for my sister, but give no details on the recording and it hangs up. I feel like if this was a legitimate collector they would have someone calling not a recording to call a number. My sister lives in a different state and we have never shared a debt.
I spoke to a man whose last name White (lie) who represents J and J legal services. He was looking for a man with a Latino name. I refused to tell him my name and number. He spoke with a fast voicr and said is attorneys number began with 888 blah blah blac. Big time scam!
The message is VERY generic using terms like ""the property on file"". They don't say a name of who they are trying to contact either.

There is no such reputable or valid collections company called this and when you question who they are they get annoyed and angry eventually hanging up on you.

The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number.
