getting calls and text messages, text messages say amex calling. called the number back and some indian guy's first question is can i please provide him with my ss#. i started laughing and hung up. just block the #, they will eventually move on.

The call to my cell phone had a caller id of AmericanExpress, but was a different number. The message left in voicemail indicated an urgent issue with my credit card and said I should call the toll-free number 833-637-0667 and provided an 8-digit case number. I was suspicious as 833 appears to come from the toll-free block of numbers, but is in fact a local Houston exchange. I first called American Express using the phone number printed on the back of my card. They confirmed that there was no problem with my credit cards. I then decided to see what the issue was that was left in my voicemail. The call handling was different from the normal American Express process. When I provided the 8-digit case number, I was routed to a specific person, not to a department. I refused to provide any personally identifying information until they confirmed something about my credit card account - which they refused to do citing policy. I eventually asked them which of my cards this was related to, priming them with cards I don't have, and they cited one of them as the issue. This group uses a very clever scam as they did appear to route me to valid American Express people, and then called back to follow up after "confirming". I don't know who they are, but they clearly aren't who they claimed to be. If you get a call from or referencing this number, don't provide any personal information. Call the phone numbers provided by the credit card company or other vendor instead to confirm whether there are any issues with your accounts. Remember this tip - if they call you, the burden is on them to provide some assurance that they are who they say they are. Asking you to identify yourself is a clever trap to gain information that can be used against you such as to apply for credit using your identity (e.g. identity theft). If you, like me, want to see how far they will go, provide incorrect social security or date of birth and see if that catches them. The best course of action is to hang up and initiate a call using the numbers you've been provided by the vendor or credit card provider.

she was indian & knew all my american ex. info on a card i cancelled last year, but caller id dont say a.e. and i said call me back as she went to get a sup. and she didnt, i wanted a deal on my debt & she said 2 675 payments & i;ll get a 500 cc at 29% . but no deal on my debit !!! oh well.

Worthless bottom feeder collectors from Amex Collextions. Sorry, bottom feeders, I only answer the phone IF I know the number and the person calling! Blocked and DONE.

Radius Global solutions I believe is behind this number. They are a medical debt collector. Interestingly, the live human that comes on the phone does not have access to the phone number that was dialed by computer. So she asked for name of someone i never heard of i said what number are you trying to reach and she was unable to provide it. This is supposedly a legitane debt collector but has received many complaints. The odd way i traced it is i got two phone calls withiin one hour from the sane woman. The other call was from a local phone number registered to yet a different company but when i phoned that local number forst blocking my own, thats when i got the radius global solutions

It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ?? I wanna find out anything about the number 8336370667 . They called me already few times in the last 2 weeks. They never leave voice message.
