A man with a heavy accent has called me from several different numbers. He leaves the same message that he reads from a script, claiming to be with AT&T. I called AT&T and they claim that this individual is not associated with them.
Update to previous comment... I checked my voicemail. It announced that the message was from (quiet sound, maybe a short exhale... it did not state the phone number as usual)... then a message was left by a pleasant sounding young mail with an Indian accent talking about my AT&T account (I don't use AT&T).
My cell phone told me I had a voice-mail (without first telling me I had a call)... then the call came in for this number and immediately disconnected. Then I had two icons... missed call and voicemail.
Pretending to be from ATT or Directv.
I would receive this phone number 8338679964 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
