They called my mom and since she doesn’t speak English she brought the phone to me and I caught the end of some sort of recorded script saying that if she doesn’t contact them they will put a warrant out for her arrest. So I called back and some dude answered right away and after asking for her name and last 4 of her ss started coming of with the craziest story that someone in Texas is using her info for illegal activities and money laundering. He could tell me all sorts of details like make and model of a car supposedly associated with this ‘Texas ssn bandit’ as well as an address. I would assume if the actual authorities had her connected to all this stuff they would come breaking down her door before making calls.
Never a good sign when someone calls but leaves no message; sorry, but the only way to reach me when I don't recognize number is to leave a voice message. They called me today early morning 6/8/2020
