I've been getting calls from 844-621-5404 everyday since I opened pone service with tello. If I continue to get junk calls I'm planning to close the account with tello and find some other phone service provider.
Got a call from +1 (844) 621-5404 w/a very minor delay upon my picking call up but before I could even say “hello”, the impatient, rude, male, (& I should mention, I have had experience in-person with customers at a local luncheonette who were from all the following areas I’m about to mention, & I became familiar with small details in their speaking patterns or word-usage which would give their identity away fairly quickly) imho sounded either: Pakistani, Afghanistan, India, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, or potentially surrounding and/or similar areas). But Before I could even say “hello?”— this man began speaking asking me if _______ was my FULL FIRST AND LAST NAME!- without my even saying “hello” first!? He also immediately said this call is being recorded. I refused to deny or admit to my name & said (equally annoyed & short ) “WHO’ IS THIS???— at which point, the caller refused to give his personal name & he purposefully “mumbled” some scam-sounding company-name he was calling on behalf of, & after informing me this call was being recorded,- I immediately interrupted him staying- I do not accept recorded phone calls, hung up & blocked his number. (Again, The mans heavily foreign accent sounded [imho] as if it were middle eastern, or potentially surrounding areas.) Ps- check the US Gov web site, they’ve just put out a notice that US Gov agencies numbers have have been hacked, & their office numbers duplicated to appear genuine & used to scam/harass people for cash or threaten to arrest the person & used their FULL FIRST AND LAST NAME, —Imho this is a scam. Be wary. Send no money give no personal info ie: DOB, first last name, address etc. Good Luck.
