The voice mail message from the number 973- 858-2633 was from what sounded like Aaron Lather (?)who said he was calling in regard to my outstanding federal student loan balance and my eligibility in the federal "forgiveness" program. I have NEVER had a student loan in my life therefore, I knew it was not a legitimate call. The message stated that it was imperative I contact him immediately at the 844-799-0110 number to verify eligibilit and discuss my options. . He also gave me a reference number to use when I called.
