Just got the call about a $499 purchase from amazon. I called back on the ""scam likely"" call number on the ID and told them to stop calling me and they are well know scam artist. FYI, indian accent, thank you come again!!!
Total Scam. they want you to think your Amazon account has been used to make a $499.00 purchase. Then they ask you to go to a website, don't do it. Once there they install a trojan on your computer and you are toast.
I would receive this phone number 8552382600 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
