Who called from 855-419-7365? Scam suspicion reports and user warnings

It's At&T trying to scam you to buy Fiber Optics phone service.

I received a call from this number this morning. I didn't answer since it didn't show who was calling; I figured it would go to voicemail. They didn't leave a message but shortly thereafter I received a text saying it's AT&T with my authorization code I supposedly requested. Of course, I didn't do o such thing. I immediately deleted the text. Coming to think of it, I should have marked it as a spam call. I have blocked this number now after I researched the number and saw all of these messages.

This number called me twice in 45 seconds before I checked the number. The voicemail he left, from a foreign guy, I think Indian by the access. They have apparently moved on from AT&T. Now he was claiming to be from some company "representing my customer and they want to file a complaint against us". Once I ran the number seeing it's a scam phish number I blocked it. Suggest you do the same.

Called number the deemed to be legitimate for AT&T 1 (800) 288-2020. Totally not, that’s how I was directed to them…all because my mom has unfortunately misplaced her phone. The lady, when I explained everything going on and preventing her to get information because I did not want nor need her services, insisted that I order $25.99 smart home service. And that any time the any smart technology in the home became inoperable they would do a “home servicing” free of charge. $2,000 to $6,000 spending limit per year. I had to tell her 3x that I did not want to pay for anything. Claimed to have directed me to so called AT&T where I scheduled a call back due to high volumes. They called back and luckily I missed the called. I knew something was weird when I listening to voicemail. Call back…it hung up on me because it said that they were in process of calling me back. I waited near an hour and received a text that said they would call back in “17 minutes”. Another hour later I really had my radar blaring. Lo’ and behold I get here. Text are stopped, numbers are blocked.

Claims to be from ATT??? Hung up on them after pressing "6" to cancel future calls. WISH I HADN'T PRESSED '6'. Probably just gave them access to something... DANG ROBO SCAMMERS!!!

Definitely a scam, block this number. Claims to be AT&T but I was on the phone with AT&T when these idiots called me 5 times in a row. AT&T confirmed they were not calling me from that number. Also all the posts that claim this is a valid number are clearly posted by the scammer so ignore those. The only one who can verify if this is valid is AT&T and they did verify that it is not, give their actual number a call if you don't believe me. Its listed on their website.

Not really At&t but will blow up your phone with calls and texts saying they need your info asap so a new tenant could move in. At&t will never call you ten times in a row with no voicemail and then text you with broken English from an unknown number. Come on. Scam. Always screen your calls, folks–and only call back numbers stated on official websites.

I called DirecTV for an issue and they transferred me to this idiot in tech support. It is from AT&T, DirecTV. It is a call center, probably located in India. Extremely incompetent and I gave up and hung up. Several hours later he called 5 times in 10 minutes from 855-419-7365. Same idiot.

This is a phishing scam. I do not have an ATT account. Never just call the number they give you, or give info over the phone when they call you. Always look up the real phone number for the business yourself, and call that, to make sure it's valid.

AT&T callback re service call scheduling.

this could be at&t. i was working with them and it turned into a big cluster. I spent the entire day with them. i got a text from this number talking about rescheduling but they never identified themselves. so not really sure and I'm not calling them. i've had enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Got a call from this number to verify an AT&T installation appointment. Left a message to call back if I needed to change it.

She asked me to call back at 888-470-0655, which Nomorobo identifies as a phishing number. Neither acct.# or call-back number were repeated (I had to listen to VM twice to write down). This is a scam.

I have received calls daily for the last week. NO voicemails left ever. Since I'm unsure I have not answered.

Called me three times in a row in one day. Left a voicemail claiming to be from the (garbled) service department and someone named "Yolanda" got disconnected trying to link a TV to my internet account. I don't know anyone named Yolanda. So it was either a phishing scam, or someone trying to access my account. Called the *actual* AT&T service number, they verified this IS a scam call.

Robocall recording claiming to be from AT&T 'survey request' stating that "this is AT&T calling from phone number 1-800-288-2020" but caller ID says 855-419-7365.
