I think this number is a scam. Asked for my bank information wanting to give me a $50 refund fir a bad router on their end.
Block this phone number, it's nothing more, and nothing less than a scam. DO NOT return the call. The IRS will never call you unless, you have given them prior authorization, and this will occur only by official IRS mail. Btw; never give out your SSN to anyone; online or over the phone!
Got a call this morning. I was at work so didn't answer. I don't call back unknown numbers, which I think is good behaviour because of possible unwanted costs. Some time ago I had call from similar number
