This number called my phone today and the recorded message told me to hold, a woman came to the phone and asked what I was calling for. I told her they called me and she looks up my number and goes on to tell me about an outstanding cash advance debt. I have NEVER in my life done a cash advance. They said it was done in Ohio, yet I have lived in Georgia for the past 7 years. The lady said ohh you're disputing it and hung up and now when I call the number back it is continuously busy or rings and then goes busy. What a scam!!!
Called and prompted to confirm if i were the person they were trying to reach. Saying I owe a debt, never spoke to a real person. Put on hold, waited 3 minutes before hanging up. Must be a scam since they were trying to reach me by my maiden name, which I haven't used in 10 years. I also have credit monitoring and no old debts. Don't waste your time, just block the number.
Never a good sign when someone calls but leaves no message; sorry, but the only way to reach me when I don't recognize number is to leave a voice message. They called me today early morning 5/22/2020
