I can verify that this is actually legitimate, much to my surprise. It's a fraud warning center used by the credit banks. It is NOT a scam. I hung on them, but when I called the number on the back of my card to double check, they referred me to this same number for more information. I did in fact have fraudulent charges just made to my card. It's crappy though that they call you using an automated computer voice, just like so many scammers do in order to mask their accents or lack of English, and more then they ask you to provide more info to verify you, which is also usually indicative of a scam.They could handle this better, but, it is a genuine fraud alert warning. Ignore them at your peril.

This number is valid and they call when fraudulent activity or suspicious charges are hitting against credit and debit cards. I also received alert texts from the credit union before they called. They canceled the card right away and I can get a new one when the credit union opens tomorrow. The card is in my possession.
Received a call saying there were fraudulent charges on my Ameris debit card. I hung up on the automated call, and called the bank. It was true. Several attempts were made, and they closed my debit card.

Found to be legit call from Ameris bank about attempted card access by outside user. Said user attempted $0 (zero dollar) 'inquiry' twice then $10 for 'online purchases'. Action triggered automated alert. Was of course totally suspicious of phone text but because had legit card last 4 digits called Amreis to find out what's up. They confirmed the attempted access into the debit card account. Their automated device could be improved as far as ""talking"" to customers.
Do a google search and you will find a dozen different banks and credit unions that coincidentally all have this same phone number. ALL FRAUD! Every one. Don't fall for their scam.

I got a text with this number and suspected it may be fraudulent, so I called my bank directly to confirm. I was able to confirm this number with my bank as a valid one. it's Visa debit card fraud alert service, possibly other credit companies monitor as well. My bank was able to verify the information contained in the text sent to me without my reading it off to them. While scary and suspicious, it's probably valid. But I do advise never taking the word of a text as axiom. If you get these calls or texts verify it by manually contacting your bank.
Texted me about card fraud on a card number I do not have. Said it was from my bank’s fraud center. Nope.

They left a message claiming to be my bank checking on unusual activity on my debit card. I did not call back.
This number called saying, they are SECU Broadband. They wanted to check on my mom credit card transactions.
Does anybody else getting calls from this number? It called me just few minutes ago 6/20/2020. I didn't answer because I didnt hear it and now I think it is not good idea to call back.
