My husband received about 10 text messages on Sunday 9/7/2021 from this number claiming to be a ""Wells Fargo EAlert"" SUBJ:#Contact. Nothing happening with our account and this is not a known Wells Fargo contact number on their site. DO NOT CALL BACK! Either walk into the bank directly, log in to your account, or call the bank using one of the known numbers on their website if you wish to check on your account.
Yesterday evening I got a text message from this number 858-764-0545. They claimed my Wells Fargo debit card had been blocked. They provided additional phone number to call for additional information. I did a google search, there was a large number of people saying it was a scam. Probably they want to access your credit card or bank account number. Be careful
