Received an email from Black Bear Armory on August 26, 2021 indicating I had made a purchase through PayPal. Called the number and person said she worked in Resolution Center at PayPal and gave me her (supposed) name, phone number and PayPal employee number. Wanted me to use Google to connect to my bank so we could return funds to my account. Sounded fishy and then she said bank was closed and she would call me tomorrow. Tried to contact PayPal but unable to find a way.
1-866-219-1102 is the number listed in an email purportedly from PayPal for the purchase of an item from Black Cactus Armory, dba Black Lotus Armory. The item is not identified. The email claims my PayPal account was charged 675.35. The email encourages the recipient to call the 866 number, which no doubt is to draw you into a scam. I am advising PayPal of this scam attempt. Of interest, the email was sent to a ""secondary"" email account that I have, and that email address was obtained by someone when the customer list of a large corporation was hacked recently. This is the second such scam attempt using that email information. Also, of interest, there is a Black Cactus Armory in Texas!
I received an email August 19, 2021 which says from Bull City Armory Store, ""Confirmation of Your Order"" Next line shows Pay-Pal. ""You have made a successful payment."" $676.57 We didn't order anything. The comments above have helped me. Thank you.
I received an e mail today saying I had purchased something from Bull City Armory Store for $676.56. When I called this number, Harry who sounded like he was from India, told me they thought the invoice was a scam and he said he was from PayPal and he would put me in touch with PayPal Silver to fix my issue. He tried to get me to go to my computer main screen, but I told him I had a bad connection and I would call back. He was starting to panic, but I hung up and called my bank. I'm waiting to see if I am charged for the invoice for something I didn't purchase. Total scam, they were not PP.
It is good that there are such pages. It is easy to find out who called you. But this time I didn't find answer who called me. Anybody can help me to find it out ?? I wanna find out anything about the number 8662191102 . They called me already few times in the last 2 weeks. They never leave voice message.
