Received the call on my cell phone. Claiming to be Bonnie Robinson from BOA, no details about the reason for the call. Call came in on 866-527-3124 and the message said to call the 866-442-5032 number. I have no BOA accounts so chalking this up to a scam.
Woman identified herself as so and so with Bank of America calling about my car loan. She asked if she was speaking to Blah Blah and I said yes. She said she had important information about my car loan and said she would need me to verify some information. She asked for my address. I asked her what the call was about. She said my car loan. I asked her what issue with my car loan. She said she could only tell me if I answered her questions. I told her I wasn't comfortable giving her any information. She said she understood and told me to call back on the # on my card (I don't have a card because I have a car loan!) or the number I usually call because they had very important information about my account. I called BOA. Went through all the hoops to get to an agent.....they were closed for the day! They close at 8:00 pm Eastern time. I got the call at about 8:30 ET. So glad I trusted my gut!!
Received a call from the number twice in the past 2 days. Picked up today and she stated her name is Maria from bank of america. Might I add its 730 pm. Asked about my car and told me to confirm my address. I said no thanks and hung up. No explanation why she called. Will be calling the bank tmr. Keep your eyes and ears out guys!
Person said they were from Bank of America. They knew my name (work phone) and immediately asked for an address to confirm security. She was talking fast so I kept asking who it was again. When she asked again for address, I replied ""no, not at this time."" And she said ""that's okay, just give us a call back when you are able"" and hung up.
I would receive this phone number 8664425032 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
