Just had a message left on my landline saying that I will be charged $299.99 for a subscription renewal unless I called them back in the next 3 hours at 877-200-4189 to cancel. Just for shits and giggles I called to see how it would be answered and what they would say but it went straight to voice-mail with a generic ""Hello , thank you for calling. Please leave your message."" so I just said ""stop your scam attempts."" and hung up.
877-200-4189 is a robo call from California or Russia!! They left a message on my landline, usually during the day. They never say the company name but say that if I do not call the number back they will charge my account with $299 for security services. I do not have security services with whomever this is. Never answer a call you do not recognize...scammers from foreign countries will entice you to call back so never answer a call from area codes 345, 242, 473, 441, 876 unless you know who is calling. Check it out online!
I would receive this phone number 8772004189 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
