I received a notice in the mail stating, "my recently purchased vehicle service contract had not been activated" and "call this toll free number 877-510-0260 IMEDIATE RESPONSE IS REQUIRED" or the contract would be negated. I got the extended warranty when I purchased my used vehicle from a dealership, so I decided I better call to make sure, but when I called the tollfree number it didn't even ring just went straight to "hold music". I became even more suspicious so I called the dealership to verify and they confirmed activation is done through the dealership and i was already activated. BEWARE!! THIS IS A SCAM!! JUST ANOTHER SNEAKY WAY TO GET YOUR INFORMATION!! AND POSSIBLY ROPE YOU INTO ANOTHER EXTENDED WARANTY!!
I received a green card saying"MOTOR VEHICLE SERVICE NOTIFICATION" with 877-512-0260 on it. I had purchased a used car so I was unsure if it was a scam or not so I went on the internet to see if anyobe recognized this number. The card says info. about a service contract and activating coverage.
Not a number I recognised so let it ring hoping they would leave a message on the answer phone. They did not
