I just started receiving calls from this number and they called my mother. I blocked the number and a message was left no name nor a company name, The message left on my voicemail stated they have been trying to reach me and a client gave them my information to complete and audit on me and was my right to now before proceeding, My question is why no name nor company name left and told my mother they will put a judgement on me!

It's quite odd because I just filed my taxes for the first time since leaving my ex 14 years ago. The message was for my ex-husband that I haven't been with in excess of 14+ years. This is the only place I put my Google number. It's really sad to know the IRS gives every debt collector access to our personal information. Maybe I'll continue to be off the grid in the future again. Unfortunately, I can't now since I'm no longer an independent contractor, but it really pisses me off they were able to obtain my information from the IRS. I did call the company back and it is a debt collector and she indicated she would remove my number within 24 hours. They message they left stated they were to conduct an audit on behalf of their client and they were making him aware before proceedings begin, as it was his legal right to know.

Got a call from this number Did not answer. The message left is regarding my ex husband. Not sure why they need a statement from me. They also stated they have tried to call me several times and that is not true.
