Claimed to be calling ""on behalf of the Coalition for Autistic Children"". When I asked the name of their company, they repeated same, when I asked a second time, they hung up. Many states require a professional for profit fundraiser to identify themselves - I'm not sure whether mine does or not. If a company has integrity, they will identify who they are, and what % of my donation goes to the original cause for which I am donating. If they can't provide that, I want nothing to do with them. I've had some experience in the donation field where big companies come in with big call centers, displace charity workers, pay their workers poorly, and keep large chunks of the donation. This is how some people become millionaires in that field.

When I picked up, about Noon, it was just an open line and more than aggravating since we are on the ""do not call list"" AND have an unpublished tel number for a reason. I got the number by dialing *69 to find out who was calling. Receive too many calls with an open line and don't always go to *69 to find out who called, but today I did because totally disgusted with these calls and any other calls robo or real person since we are on the ""do not call list"" and have an unpublished number!

Got a call from this phone number 8777292912 today in the morning, they left no message. It is risky to answer unknown calls. In a lot of cases they get paid for every pick up call even though they don't get to fleece you. If it's anything important, they will leave a message on voice mail.
