I never answer unidentified calls, I search the Net to see if it's flagged. This number has dozens of flags as a ""silent call"" (nobody's on the other end.) General consensus - this is a major fraud scheme. SEARCH ""why are anonymous calls often silent"" for an illuminating explanation... fraudsters use the silent call to find human suckers who answer calls. Then, their computer automatically scans the internet for info about your phone number - is it attached to a credit card or other personal but public info. Those are the numbers the scam artists pounce on with targeted fraud. Moral: NEVER ANSWER UNIDENTIFIED CALLS. Even saying ""hello"" makes you a target for more calls!
