877-956-4502 – Scam suspicion report

Response number used in letter mail claiming that "...we have been trying to contact you and have not been able to, regarding your property's home warranty at..." and that your home warranty is about to expire. Letter uses multiple deceptive statements to make it appear as an official government document: "Penalty for Private Use $300 " "FORM 9550-WARR" "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED" "REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED" "Based on your mortgage lender's requirements for your current loan, you may be required to have a home warranty in place.... Letter references old deed information pulled from property records to make it appear to be from/in reference to your mortgage lender or local government. Tells you to call the "Warranty Dept" at 877-891-9767 or 877-956-4502 for spanish. Does not list a return address or give any sender information except for a very small print "Superior Home Protection is not affiliated with your current mortgage holder" at the bottom of the page.
