The number called with a man's recorded message that an I-phone worth $649 had been charged to my Amazon account. When I clicked on the call, a woman who identified herself as Sharon Cooper answered and said she was working with Amazon fraudulent claims. When I asked her for the last four digits of the credit card being charged, she said she couldn't tell me. I hung up and checked my Amazon account, but nothing had been ordered from there in several weeks. I put the number into the computer, which pulled up the exact recorded call I had received.
This #8883486078 called my landline phone & left a message. It was obviously a recorded message saying that a charge to my Amazon account was being used to charge the purchase of a $697.00 & was denied. I checked all my accounts & saw nothing suspicious. My bank is very good notifying me of unknown charges. I’m considering this to be spam .
Two days ago on the 4/4/2021 this number 8883486078 tried to call me. I answered the phone but there was nobody on the other side. I decided to call it back but we were cut off. I thought it was a problem with connection so I called it again but this time the number 8883486078 was engaged. If it something important I'm sure they will call me again
