Received a call from these folks today. Can’t believe who thought of this hasn’t been caught. It is from all the research I’ve done a scam, as the 888-511 number doesn’t exist. Do not pick up, but report it ASAP.
I've received a call twice from this number saying "Hi this is Charlie with the student services department. I am following up in regards to your outstanding federal student loan balance we have been trying to reach you because you are eligible for the federal student loan forgiveness program due to the changes made in 2021. It's imperative that we speak to you as soon as possible......" I do not have any student loans.
This number 8885110275 called me yesterday and early this morning. I thought it was something important. I'm returning this call now but there is no answer. I'm trying again and now it seems I'm losing the connection. Pretty strange. I think I will ignore this number
