888-725-4849 – Scam suspicion report

This number is on Google search as a entergy bill paying agent. The person has the accent as if he is from India. HE SEEMS LEGIT and ask where you are starting service. Ask all the questions that the electric company would ask. After I made the payment with my debit card they send a text from a different state ( Kentucky) with the correct account number and date service will start. Also in the text it says your payment will show on your bank account "1STOPTONERS LLC" a bill psaying agent of ENTERGY. The payment never goes to Entergy. On bank statement it list a phone number from Duluth GA. They never answer the phone only a messaging machine...but never return the call. I have reported this to several agency...this happened in April 2023. It's a scam.
