Received e-mail with PayPal logo about an NTF purchase. Interesting that raw message could not be viewed. Obvious span.
I received an e-mail today, 02-19-22, addressed to me by name with the PayPal heading. The e-mail claimed I purchased something from Shiba Inu for $432.62. I have never interacted with Shiba Inu and I would not interact with any digital currency. I contacted PayPal today but I have not received a replay. 8888741422 is the "contact number" on the e-mail.
Sent me an email with this number saying I purchased NFTs but no transaction in any of my accounts. I didn't call.
Claims its from Paypal and my bank has been charged 312.00 for Bitcoins. Told him I don't have a Paypal account nor do I have a bank account. He insisted I do and to give him my bank name and account # to reverse the transaction of the charge made of 312.00. I hung up I called my bank no charges have been made. Bank said its a scam to get my info. People beware of these calls to get your info.
