888-880-4331 – Scam suspicion user reviews

I got multiple calls from that number. When I answered U was told my Amazon account as hacked. They said someone is trying to buy a computer for over $700.00 and accessories. She asked about the device I use to place orders. Because I was busy, I told her I would call her back in 15 minutes. She insisted on calling me back. Once I got off of another call, I called Amazon. Turns out, there is no issue with my account. Since that time, my phone rang from the phony Amazon person twice, no message was left. This was clearly a scammer! They are using Amaz on's number, somehow!

I would receive this phone number 8888804331 on my landline at home for the past month. They are calling mostly during the day time. The caller ID does not list who is calling other than the phone number. The caller would always hang up and not leave a voice message. I do not know how this person got my unlisted phone number. Maybe it is a telemarketer, even though my unlisted phone number is on the Do Not Call list.
