Multiple calls in one day from this number telling me there was criminal activity with my social security. Told them if the social security office had a problem they could send me a letter! Then hung up. What a bunch of scammers.

I called and gave some shmuck who answered an earful. There is NO WAY the real SSA would tell anyone to do this. Much like the IRS scams -- the IRS doesn't call.
Never a good sign when someone calls but leaves no message; sorry, but the only way to reach me when I don't recognize number is to leave a voice message. They called me today early morning 7/13/2020
