Publishers Clearing House scam. Asked me to call this number and give them 7 digit code

Person clamming to be David Parker phone # 916-237-0207 and than Dave Sayer phone # 859-878-2969 from Publishers Clearing House clamming I had won $15,000,000 plus New 2021 Mercedes-Benz plus $ 5,000 a week for life. He wanted my checking account number so he could deposit the $5,000 into my account every week. I told him to just sent me a weekly check for the $ 5,000. He said it doesn't work that way.

Number 916-237-0207 claimed to be Publishers Clearing House, and that person at my number won their monthly prize of $15,000,000.00 and a 202 Mercedes Benz of my color, plus $ 5,000.00 per week for life. First off, I did not enter PCH, and if some did win PCH, for $15M, they would drive up to your door and record the winner for commercials. absolute scam. Got to stop this garbage !!

Is anybody getting calls from the number 9162370207 ? Called me a few times recently but I didn't answer, I was at work. Do you think it's a good idea to call it back? to be honest, I'm afraid of any unwanted costs. Happened to me in the past.
