Caller ID said the call originated from (714) 242-7646 in Santa Ana Ca. The message said the call was from Jay and that I should call (916) 713-7566 to finish a student loan forgiveness application. Like other posters here I agree this must be a scam. They're probably phishing for personal information. Beware!

Got an anonymous call from a guy named Matt, the exact text reading off my voicemail says: ""Hello this is Matthew following up with an earlier request for you evaluating student loan forgiveness options or possible payment for your student loans. It is currently Friday July 24th and the reason for the call today is that we were never able to reach you to complete the entire loan forgiveness application, please give us a call at 916-713-7566. Otherwise, we will have to close out your loan forgiveness application. Thank you. This is a SCAM.

Just like everyone else, it was the same script by Jay about failing to fulfill a student loan forgiveness evaluation application. If you came to this website skeptical about him, you made the right call cause i'm telling you it's a scam

Someone called from a ""private number"", claimed his name is Jay, and left me a voice mail regarding a loan forgiveness loan application that I supposedly started with them. He never named the organization. The message said I had to call back immediately or they would have to close my application. I did not call back. I did not apply for any loan forgiveness. It's clearly a scam/fraud.

Yesterday the number 9167137566 phoned me a few times. I couldn't answer it. Later I called it back. I was rejected. I called it later again but there was silence on the other side. I think it is nothing important. Probably telemarketer with another ad or an invitation.
