Got a call, with a voicemail, with a woman stating she was with Social Security and that there was a case on my account for criminal and fraudulent activity. No name, call back number was the same number I was called with and not the SSN toll free number. Don't believe this scam. Be cautious. If you have any concerns call the Legit Social Security toll free number or go to a Social Security office and talk to them about your concerns.
They are not only calling from 929-469-5749 but they are also using 542-379-5328. Same message. Scam. Do not fall for this.
Got a call from a new number of 486-360-0674 from the same woman who called me previously from this number. She provided her name of Jennifer Williams with the Social Security Administration mentioning that she was calling to inform about a legal enforcement action on my name and account. She then provided this number as the call back number as a way to fake a type of toll free number. Be cautious of this scam! She has called me twice in one day and not once provided the actual Social Security Administration number.
