I received a call from this number on 9/14/2020. I allowed it to go to Voicemail, since I did not recognize the number. It was From someone declaring themselves as an agent, requiring financial records to insure my Stimulus would be processed in a timely manner..I did not call back until I have checked this # out. Thanks!
This call was from area code 931 208-8936 and the caller stated her name is Alissa (Elissa?) Hall with agent number 2561 from some agency for student loans (in the US) and her return number was listed as area code 202 843-5999 with a code for me to use 070120 for loan forgiveness, etc. It was placed to my cell number in Canada. So if you’re receiving calls from this number please list it here as this is a valuable resource. Thanks www.who-called.us and I hope this is for Canadian scams as well!
