Heavily accented man called my 84 year old sister wanting to know her bank account number claiming that her name, etc had been used in Texas as Fraud. Told her to give him the info he requested or face jail time and have to repay $85k. Said someone would come by the house tomorrow to give her a new bank number. She asked if someone else could be present as ehs has vision problems and he told her no.......imagine that..
Did not pick up, heavily accented voice left a message claiming to be from the social security administration, demanding that I return the call ASAP. Delete!
Someone called me from the number 9735776840 . After the phone quits ringing and goes to Voice Mail they hung up and didnt leave any voice message. I suggest to not answer the phone when the caller phones you. The caller may want to know what time/day you pick up the phone to know when you are home, so they would know when to call you again.
