Automated message pretending to be AT&T DirecTV warning that my 50% discount will be canceled unless I return the call. They insist on calling back the number shown on caller ID rather than the official company line. If a caller says they’re from “AT&T DirecTV,” it’s a red flag. There’s no such company, so it’s almost certainly a scam.
Got a prerecorded voicemail claiming to be from AT&T DirecTV about losing a 50% discount if I don’t call back. The message specifically says to use the number on caller ID instead of contacting AT&T directly — huge red flag. Clearly a scam, don’t fall for it.
