Rec'd 2 calls this AM , with the same foreign accent Social Security officer, notifying me of criminal activity regarding my SSA number. To avoid legal action he asks that this phone number be called. It is clearly a phishing scam. Last week I got repeated phone calls from a foreign speaking woman regarding this same SSA story and leaving a different call back number each time. The SSA.gov website states to report these calls to oig.ssa.gov.
I just posted, but forgot to include that he said he was from the Social Security Administration. SCAM WRITTEN ALL OVER IT!!!!!!
Officer claimed that legal enforcement action was being taken for criminal activity on my name and SSN. This is definitely a scam. The caller had a very thick accent and was somewhat difficult to understand. DO NOT RETURN THE CALL. NEVER GIVE INFO OR SEND MONEY FOR ANY REASON!!!
some investigation scam
This number keeps calling me and leaving voicemails saying is the security administration office. Not sure what they want but they saying to call them back which I did and the lady answer the phone she said there is no such a thing with your name. I am not sure what's going on. Is this Fraud?
Two days ago on the 9/28/2020 this number 9893081547 tried to call me. I answered the phone but there was nobody on the other side. I decided to call it back but we were cut off. I thought it was a problem with connection so I called it again but this time the number 9893081547 was engaged. If it something important I'm sure they will call me again
