321-754-9289 – Text message reports and user reviews

I called Florida unemployment yesterday and received a callback from this number much sooner than expected. A woman answered the phone stating she was with UI and asked whet my problem was. I briefly explained my issue, and she asked for my social. Between the abrupt request for PII, the strong accent and poor communication, and the fact that the call was already filtered as potential spam, I just hung up assuming it was a scam call. That being said, I called back a second time today, and got a callback from the same number. I got a gentleman who communicated well and who didn’t ask for sensitive information right from the start. I told him I was skeptical about the call, and he proceeded in helping me without me having to give out any personal information by just directing me through the website and asking me the status of a few things. He never even got my name, but was still able to assist me. Based on what I experienced and the other comments I’ve read here, it seems that this may be a legitimate callback from UI, although it’s evident that the personnel hired to assist during the pandemic were not screened and/or trained well at all.

Someone called me 10mins after I requested a call back from Florida Unemployment but the person left me on hold for 20mins before he could do anything, then asked for my full SSN, birth date and full name. I didn't feel comfortable so he put me on hold for another 10min, I didn't provide all the information then I called Unemployment back but didn't request a call back, I waited on the line

I called back the Fla DEO I was waiting for a call back from the center worker I shortly received a call from 3217549289 SMS I messaged my call back number I don't remember getting such a weird call back SMS notification before. This may be a red flag,suspicious number. Whoever these callers are, mabey getting paid to get personal information from DEO applicants or scamming.

Received a call from this number twenty minutes after requesting a callback from Florida Unemployment. No one was on the line.

I called this number because I saw it in a reddit post. The woman knew absolutely nothing and asked me for my personal info including address, social, name, and more. When she asked me if she could reset my pin for me, I decided that it wasn't safe to speak with her. I don't know for sure that it is a scam phone number but it sure seemed like it. She also couldn't help with anything and seemed to have no idea how to apply for unemployment and kept giving me completely incorrect information--she seemed to assume id be even more ignorant than she is and just listen to everything she had to say. I'd play it safe and only call numbers from the DEO Florida unemployment website.

Not even ten minutes after I requested the unemployment office to call me when I was next in line, I got a call from this number. I researched to see if there were any calls coming from Orlando in relation to unemployment and there is an article by the Orlando Sentinel that explains that the unemployment office teamed up the Lighthouse Works and has people calling from there.

I got a call today from this number, asked for my social security and name immediately which seemed like a red flag but It was a call back from the Florida unemployment phone number that was given to me. As soon as I did this he basically hung up on me. Definitely a scam going on-What should I do? Does anybody else have experience with this and what they did?

Got a return call from unemployment, she couldn't answer my question and she hang up abruptly on me. DEO paying people that can't help you, who hired her?

Received a call back from unemployment number. She couldn't access anything. Said she couldn't help me file, correct my account, nothing. Was googling the issues I was having. Total scam. Asked her name, after about 15 seconds, said it was Kristen. I asked why she was calling me from a 321-754-9289 number when the unemployment number was an 800 number. She gave some BS excuse at first that she worked in a call center, then she said she worked from home, then said that its a special number. Interesting how she couldn't access the system and said that she was having issues. When I told her I was not comfortable with the call, she started berratting me about how she can't help me now, and that I was the one in this situation, and that I shouldnt be calling and that I needed to just sit back and be poor. SERIOUSLY

Seems to be the return phone call from the Florida Unemployment Office. A lady answered and asked for personal details including SSN, date of birth, address and Claimant ID to confirm identity. Could not provide any new info other than what already was on CONNECT claim website. Hopefully it is legitimate and not a scam, terrible time to get identity stolen

I requested to get a called back from unemployment, and this number called me. Adriana was her name- could not give me her last name which is understandable, and she had a very low voice in an isolated room.. kind of sketched me out. After being on hold for 10min, she said she couldn't find any information.. can someone please confirm if she is legit? I was too happy to finally get a call back and gave her my SS before picking up on the red flags. thank you

I received a call from them as well and they did say they were from UI but asked for Social and I thought it was odd so I just hung up! My phone said it was an Orlando caller... If anyone knows that its legit please lmk. Thanks!

this is the return phone call from the Florida reemployment. I was never issued a connect pin after applying on mobile app 04/09 The lady could not find my info in the system. She did ask my SSN. At this point best I can hope for is if someone steals my identity and gets some benefits or a job. Screw it.

Finally got trough the unemployment 1800-204-2418 and got a message they will call me back. 15 min later I got a call from Michael 321-754-9289 .He said he was in Tampa and was hired to work from home. He asked my SS but wasn't able to give me any update. I hope this is legit.

I received a call from Paul, FL Dept of Unemployment at 9am on May 6, 2020. He was very helpful and determined that all my info has been entered in CONNECT. The number that showed up was 321-754-9289.

It's a call back from FL unemployment. Sounds like someone working from home. They can't access any info or details. Asked to put me on a short hold and connected me to another number that cut me off. SMH.

This is unemployment number wait list. They called me back made me wait on hold for 24 min just to end my call. So pissed. The system ***** ***
